Jamie Farmer
Growing up in church and Christian school, Jamie’s love for music began at an early age through choir and worship. His first experience with Southern Gospel came when he joined his father in a local quartet called New Dawn. That season sparked a lifelong passion for sharing the gospel through song. Influenced by legendary groups such as The Cathedrals and Legacy Five, Jamie developed a deep appreciation for the harmony, message, and ministry of Southern Gospel music.
Following his time with New Dawn, Jamie continued singing with a Southern Gospel trio before embarking on a solo career. In addition to performing, he has served as Worship Pastor at three different churches, leading congregations in praise and mentoring others in music ministry. Over the years, Jamie has sung with multiple regional groups, always viewing each opportunity as a way to serve the Lord and encourage others through music.
After taking a few years away from the road to focus on family while his son Jordan was growing up, Jamie once again felt God calling him back to the ministry of music. Now that Jordan, himself a Worship Director, is grown and married, Jamie feels renewed purpose in sharing the gospel through song.
Supported by his wife Kathy, his greatest encourager and partner in ministry for over 27 years, Jamie is grateful for the opportunity to sing with the Pine Ridge Boys. “It’s a blessing to once again use the voice God gave me to tell others about His love and grace,” he says. “My prayer is that every note I sing points people to Him.
