Steven Craps – Lead Singer

Steven was born on December 13, 1994 to Gregg and Lauri Craps and has two sisters, Hanah and Darci. He grew up going to church every time the doors were open.

At age twelve, Steven heard his first Southern Gospel group, The Pine Ridge Boys, and fell in love with the music and the group from the very beginning. In August 2010, Steven started a solo ministry called “Singin Steven” and has traveled all over the state of South Carolina. Today, ten years after first meeting The Pine Ridge Boys, it is a dream come true to be joining the group as their Lead Singer.

Eight years ago Steven was diagnosed with glaucoma, losing a substantial amount of vision, especially peripheral vision. Not letting that stop him, graduated high school and attended North Greenville University for two years studying music and voice.

Interest include listening and attending Southern Gospel concerts when not singing himself. anything with family or grandparents (Larry and Helen Smith who are also his biggest supporters), and eating. Steven’s motto is, “Don’t live to eat, but eat to live.”

Steven loves to sing and is ready to go tell anyone and everyone, any and everywhere that “Jesus loves you.”
